“A relatively new cuvée, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Etienne Pécoul is based on 100% Grenache raised all in demi-muids. Its medium ruby/plum color gives way to a terrific perfume of black raspberries, currants, peppered meat, and iron. This complex, medium to full-bodied, gorgeously seamless Grenache has silky tannins, terrific overall balance, and a great finish. It might be the finest wine I’ve tasted from this estate.”
