“The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Etienne Pécoul is all Grenache raised in demi-muids. It has a great bouquet of black raspberries, cherries, peppery garrigue, and spice that develops nicely with time in the glass. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a supple, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful up-front fruit, and a great finish. This beautiful Grenache is great today and will be great in a decade as well.”

“The Grenache-only 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Etienne Pécoul matured for 9 months in demi-muids and states a whopping 16% alcohol on the label. It soars from the glass with aromas of rose petal, blood orange, nectarine, ripe red and black fruits, garrique and licorice. This is a particularly polished and stylish effort from Domaine Chante Perdrix. It is full-bodied and layered, kept in check by fresh acidity with quite a bold and persistent finish.”

“100% Grenache. Blåbær og violer med modenhed i næsen. Rig struktur og tannin der matcher den modne intensitet i frugten. Fyldig men stadig med en flot elegance. Lang afslutning.”
