Domaine Des Escaravailles Roaix Les Hautes Granges 2020
Bedømmelser for årgang 2018:
Jeb Dunnuck: 91-94 point.
“Made from 100% Syrah, the 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Roaix Les Hautes Granges is still aging in a mix of 80% neutral barrels and 20% new barrels. It has a kiss of oak as well as rocking notes of blackberries, violets, and cured meats. Medium to full-bodied, rounded, and seamless on the palate, it has a modern vibe that won’t appeal to the traditionalist, yet I suspect the oak will be completely integrated with 2-3 years of bottle age.”
Robert Parker: 91-93 point. “A Syrah-based wine matured in oak (30% new), the 2018 Cotes du Rhone Villages Roaix les Hautes Granges features lovely violet shadings on the nose, alongside peppery spice and raspberry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it’s supple, warm and inviting, with a long, silky-textured finish. Impressive!”
